On a Café Trail in South Kolkata

A longish stay at the my hometown Kolkata, thanks to Covid-19, enabled me to take long walks in the pleasant winter evenings. The bright spot that I observed in my locality of South Kolkata is the number of diverse cafes. Hence every winter evening I chose to go for a walk following a café trail from my house to the various lanes and by-lanes through Lake Road to Hindustan Park. Almost at every corner emerged a new café. Some new ones popped up and some even shut down all in the span of three or four months. These stand-alone, themed cafes were a departure from the popular café chains like Café Coffee Day, Starbucks and Barista and provided a welcome variety in ambience and food. 
I can list the below some top cafes on my walking trail which are a must visit if you are residing in South Kolkata around the Rashbehari and Southern Avenue Area.
